Hello! Today I thought I'd share a little bit about the 2017 American Patchwork & Quilting Quilt along. This is a fun event that I try to participate in every year. In fact, two of my favorite quilts are the result of participating in this quilt along!
My "Go Four It" quilt and my "Tone it Down" quilts are both the result of
sewing along with two different APQ quilt a longs! You can see my "Go Four It" quilt here and my "Tone it Down" quilt here.
This year's quilt along features some really fun options. The first option is the "Step by Step" quilt (pattern included in the Spring 2017 issue of Quilts and More). This quilt finishes up at 60 1/2" square and would be a super fun project for scraps and using your stash!
The "String Theory" quilt is another option for the quilt along. This quilt pattern is featured in the American Patchwork & Quilting Spring 2017 issue.
Both of these quilts are Courthouse Steps block variations...and there is a third option you can also use. If you'd like to try just one block and make it into a pillow or table topper, you can find a pattern for that here.
I'm pretty sure I'm going to make the "Step by Step" quilt pictured above, but first I'm going to make the small project.
If you quilt along, be sure to tag your photos on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #apqquiltalong!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
