Happy Friday! Today I'm excited to talk a little bit about a couple of my favorite things...one is an amazing quilt book that you might have seen recently. But the cover might look just a bit different because it's now available in an English translation!
A few years ago I searched and searched until I found this lovely book. I knew
it was written in Japanese, but that didn't sway me from purchasing it. I figured the inspiration would be worth it...just for the beautiful photos.
I recently found out that Happy Flower Quilts: 30 Colorful Quilts, Charming Bags and Cheerful Gifts has been translated into English...and that it is readily available on Amazon! I can hardly wait work on some projects included...there are small bags and quilts as well as the lovely sampler on the cover. Since my Splendid Sampler is almost finished I might have to start this quilt!
And...I've been working on a lot of cleaning and organizing...and just love this Ikea cabinet I got for my sewing room (although it did take me about four hours to put together). I'm still finishing up the final organizing of the fabrics that used to be on a bookshelf in this space, and then I'll be back to give you an updated tour of my space.
Thanks so much for stopping by...have a wonderful weekend!
