Patchwork Gift Bags and More!

Hello! Happy November! And welcome to a little parade of patchwork gift bags! It's been really fun to see all the cute versions of this tutorial that have been made from this tutorial.

I'm starting off my parade with one of  Hildy's bags...I love that she used a

left-over quilt block for part of her bag! I can't wait to do this as well! It really makes the bag extra special!

Hildy also made a bag using just one fabric in place of the patchwork sections...I love this one too!

Next up is Brenda's fun version made with our Valley fabric! I love this so much! You'll have to visit Brenda's blog to see even more photos of this bag and some others she recently made!

Definitely stop by Michele's blog at Island Life Quilts to see the rest of our parade (Michele's is absolutely wonderful)!  These different bags have been so fun to see, and it has me ready to make some more bags to use as gift bags.

For December's parade we're using another free tutorial...and hoping everyone will play along by making a scrappy patchwork pillow. This is another great gift idea, and it would be extra fun in Christmas fabrics, too!

Go here to find the tutorial (or click the photo above). Michele and I hope you'll make one of these and send in your photos for our December parades...just email if you have any questions!

Thanks so very much everyone...I'll be back tomorrow with a new pattern.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

the bags are so cute. I love the star block in the first one: such a great idea!! And I was just thinking about that pillow pattern, so I'd better get busy and make it! I seem to run out of time each month for the projects. Like all of a sudden, my daughters' best friend's mother has been diagnosed with cancer, so I want to make a quilt for her, so that puts all other projects on hold. That's life! Have a great day!! Hugs, H
