Happy 4th of July

Happy Fourth of July! This picture sums up a perfect 4th of July afternoon to me...a quilt, a cozy chair, a book, and some lemonade! The quilt is my Hometown Summer quilt...a favorite of mine that I designed a few years ago for publication.

I try to make something new each year to add to my collection of patriotic

quilts and decor. This year I finished my Stars and Stripes quilt in plenty of time...we've had it on a chair in our family room for the last few weeks.

I'll be spending today with family and doing a little cooking, a lot of eating, and
maybe even a bit of sewing! I hope you are getting to do the same if you are celebrating today!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Your Hometown Summer quilt has my fingers itching! But 4th of July picnic food comes first! Have a wonderful 4th.
