The Desert Bloom fabric collection has a variety of prints perfect for babies,
both boys and girls, and with so many colorway options we thought it would be fun to include two different baby quilt options in one pattern. Either quilt can be made in any colorway, but the nine-patch quilt does have a fun flower applique' option.
We love combining the navy's, medium blues, and greys for a more masculine look with this collection...perfect for your favorite little guy (or use these fabrics for your favorite big guy quilt)!
My friend Marion did the perfect modern quilting on this one! I had to show off the backing fabric too, which is such a fun print (and comes in lots of colors you'll see next week).
For our baby girl version we took out the navy and grey and filled our quilt with corals, aquas, medium blues, pinkish reds, and yellow-greens. Chelsi drew some fun flowers which are perfect for your favorite method of applique'!
Okay...so four new patterns...two with two versions! We're pretty excited about these! There is actually one more new pattern I'll be sharing soon, but it won't be available for purchase until June first, so I'll keep you in suspense a little longer on that one. But it's a goodie!
Baby, Baby PDF's are available now in my Etsy shop. Paper patterns for Baby, Baby (and all of the quilts I've shared this week) are also available and will ship after quilt market!
Hope you are enjoying the new patterns. Next week I'll be sharing details about the fabrics and some of the other projects we've done for our market booth!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
