Happy Saturday...and happy August. I'm still not sure where July went, but I know there is just one more month of summer, and I still have a lot of projects on my list! One thing I've been working on is this Jelly Roll Jam II quilt using the upcoming Prairie collection by Little Miss Shabby for Moda. I just need to bind it, and it will be ready!
I used Moda Snuggles on the back and will be using the pink polka dots
from Bright Sun for binding! This pattern has been my "go to" baby quilt pattern lately. It's an afternoon project if you have jelly roll strips ready to go. I made my quilt a little bigger by adding extra squares on the top and bottom...they were from a few left-over strips I had when cutting.
Since the first of this month fell on a weekend, the Minis and More parade will be held on Monday...our plan is to hold the parade on Mondays for months when the first is on the weekend. So there is still time to send in your photo if you haven't sent it in yet.
Also, Craftsy has a class sale beginning today for a limited time (through August 3rd). You can find a variety of classes on sale for the next few days including some great classes for beginner and intermediate quilters. I've taken both of the classes by Joanna and both of the classes by Camille that are on sale, and they are all great classes.
I'll be back on Monday with the Minis and More parade...have a great weekend!
