Works in Progress

I had a little finish the other day! I added the final border to my "Sweet Honey Braids" quilt (pattern by Fig Tree & Company). I'm not sure why I was hesitant about pairing the aqua and lime green borders...I absolutely love them!

This is such a fun scrap project. Whenever I finish up an older work in progress I simply can't figure out what took me so long.

I'm planning on trying to finish up a couple of other works in progress this month...no new projects until March!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Thankfully for you that March is just around the corner. I always have project ideas popping into my mind and need to feed my sewing passion. I currently have 10 quilt tops that I need to quilt. Yeah, I need to make myself get busy and get these beauties finished!!! I love your scrap quilt, they are always so much fun for me.

It feels always so great to finally finish a project, doesn't it? But then ... starting a new one is great, too;-) Perhaps I should always finish an old one whenever I start a new one? Mmmh, my wip pile would surely say thank you!

Don't you love the feeling of Finished? I finally after the past year just quilted and got the binding on the last three quilts I made in 2014! Now I am ready to start the year. I'm just a couple months behind lol........

The borders look great. I'm digging the lime and aqua together!

I love the borders, Sherri. I'm glad you took a chance. :-)

Until I made the quilt with Aloha Girl I had been focusing on using my stash. I've enjoyed the challenge. :)

What a beautiful finish! I love the way you combine Fig Tree Fabrics. I have a huge stash of them, and hope to dig into them to use them like you do.
