Today I'm happy to be able to share my latest pattern...Seashore Drive. Seashore Drive is named after a street in Newport Beach, California where we were able to vacation a few times as a family. So it was no wonder I would name my "Beachy" quilt made with Kate Spain's new Horizon collection for Moda after our favorite vacation destination!
Abby quilted this using her "Simple Cable" pattern. I requested this design after seeing it on one of Camille's new quilts...and I'm so happy with how it turned out!
Not only do the fabrics in this quilt remind me of the ocean, but the actual block design says "Sea Glass" to me.
I've included a simplified method for making the units in the blocks...you don't have to cut or work with the bias edges of small triangles.
I know this is a bit of a photo overload, but I couldn't stop taking pictures of this quilt!
PDF patterns are available now for instant download here (on sale until market for just $6), and paper copies will ship when I return home from market...
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
