Building Barns

I'm trying to get caught up on my Barn quilt this weekend (Lori Holt is at it again with a fantastic tutorial for the barn blocks). I think we are supposed to have 4 barns by now, but I have 3 1/2 in various stages of completion.

This is one of my favorites...the backgound for the quilt block is from Aneela Hoey's Posy collection.

I love this barn too...the barn fabric is from Oink a Doodle Moo by Moda...chicken wire on red seemed to be the perfect fabric for a barn.

And here is barn number 4, just waiting for a quilt block side.

Thanks, Lori, for another fun project! I've actually always wanted to make a barn quilt because of my Iowa heritage, so here goes!

Love your barns Sherri, but you better hurry and get the side up on that fourth one before the horses get out, LOL. Hugs...

They all look great. Isn't this a fun quilt along? And you're not behind...barn #4 isn't "out" yet.
I have the Oink A Doodle Moo fabric too, just waiting to use it on a barn!

I love the red barns! I have seen them on others blogs, but I now I think I need to get on board. I'm from Iowa too and love all things with barns. Enjoy!

I'm still finishing up my Row Along but when I'm finished, which is likely today, I will jump into the barns.

I love the fabrics you have used in your weathervane block. They work beautifully together.

I have printed some of the patterns and in a perfect world would be finding time to make these. For now, I will just admire yours!

I love your barn blocks Sherri! Kimberly and I are doing them as well! SO much fun! I have cut out all of my barn fabrics, but have not constructed them yet because Lori is turning some barns the opposite direction!
