While I was away at Ruby's Inn last week a much-anticipated arrival was delivered to my home. I knew A Quilting Life: Creating a Handmade Home
was going to arrive while I was gone, so my husband had strict instructions to stay home until it was safely delivered!It was wonderful to come home on Saturday and be able to hold this in my hands. I actually outlined my ideas for the book back in 2010, thinking it was one of those "bucket list" goals that might take a long time to accomplish. It really is a dream come true to have it here!
I can't write this post without saying thank you to everyone at C&T Publishing who truly helped this book come to life. Every person I worked with was incredible. The photography, the colors, the design elements, and the quality of production is everything I imagined and more!
Okay...well I guess I'd better get back to the real world now. Even though I've read it through several times since receiving it, I might have to read it cover to cover one more time!
