Insert Snappy Title Here...

Happy February!  And yes, Insert Snappy Title Here is the perfect title for my post and...is the name of our February Schnibbles pattern. The quilt above is Carrie's original quilt from the pattern cover...isn't it gorgeous?! I love it!

I can't wait to see all of the amazing i.s.t.h. quilts we'll be seeing next month.  For now, though, we have some amazing versions of Full House to share. I think this is our largest group of quilts ever, and it's been so exciting to see them arrive in my in-box from all over the world!

Simone 's quilt seemed like the perfect one to start my parade...her version has inspired a lot of us!

Michelle 's version is so cute in Reunion by Sweetwater for Moda...might have to copy this one...I think I need to make more Full House projects after seeing so many great ones!

Laila made this beautiful version using Ruby!

Paulette (no blog) sent in this gorgeous version. We have so many styles of fabric in the parades today, and every version is just beautiful!

Thelma always amazes me...and her row of townhouses along with Carrie's houses is just too cute!

Theresa used Good Fortune by Kate Spain for this version...I could definitely live in this neighborhood!

Shelley sent this Sandy Gervais version...such a great photo too!

Leah also used a Sandy Gervais line...so fun!

Mary made this gorgeous "tiny town" version...and her quilting is beautiful!

Laura (no blog) has another Ruby version that is almost finished!

Marica made this beautiful version...such beautiful fabric choices again.

Polly also chose Good Fortune...love this quilt!

Lesley shares another quilt made using a Sandy Gervais line...each one is so fun!

Lisa in Texas sent this cute version...love the colors here!

Meredith (no blog) sent a Christmas version...beautiful!

Nicole made a beautiful version in blue...she has another photo on her blog with a beautiful table setting along with her quilt!

Patricia used some beautiful fabrics as well.  I'm sure you are all feeling as I do...that every color choice is the perfect color choice for this pattern!

Patty also used fun bright fabrics...cute!

Sandie made this absolutely beautiful pillow version...love the quilting on this too!

Sandra also made a Christmas version...you can't go wrong with this combination!

Satu also made a beautiful pillow!

Izzy made a beautiful Blueberry Crumb Cake version...

And here is Christine's beautiful Ruby version.

Sharon made a runner...what a great idea!

Susan (no blog) made this absolutely beautiful version. Her photo is perfect as well...setting the stage perfectly for her pillow!

Trelly made this lovely Fig Tree version--I might need to make a Fig Tree version now, too!

LeAnn made this gorgeous Sweetwater version...this one just says "spring" to me!

Mary used one of my all-time favorite lines, Simple Abundance by Bonnie & Camille for Moda.  And her doll-sized quilt is so precious in the cradle!

Kristen sent this beautiful version along for our parade.

May Kristen also chose to make her version in Ruby...so fun!

Pati made this fun red, white and blue version...love it!

And Rene designed this beautiful pillow...again...another version I think I'm going to have to make!

Shannon sent this very colorful fun version--love the blue skies!

Mary (no blog) made this beautiful version! Wow...amazing...I have so many more Full House versions I want to make now.  And guess what...there are even more Full House quilts over at Sinta's blog--make sure to stop by and see even more amazing quilts!

Thanks so much for stopping by the parade.  Please...if anyone sent a photo or link and you aren't on one of the two parades...just send your information again, and I'll get you added in.

Have a great day!

Just Stopping By...

It's been incredibly busy/crazy (in a great way) around here lately.  My school semester started this week (I'm teaching 2 English classes at a local community college), and I'm nearing completion of some big projects I haven't been able to share as of yet. But just like a breath of fresh air, one of my summer finishes arrived home the other day.

The fabrics are Fresh Cottons by Fig Tree & Company for Moda, and the pattern is "Vanilla & Blooms," also by Fig Tree & Company.

The quilting is gorgeous, and I can't wait to put my feet up for a few minutes and stitch the binding on this quilt!  I'll share full pictures when it's finished! Have a wonderful day!

Pattern Testing...

One thing I've been working on for the last week is some very exciting pattern testing for Kimberly at Fat Quarter Shop.

Each year Fat Quarter Shop hosts a Mystery Designer Block of the Month.  I always participate and love each of the quilts I've made from these patterns.  The blocks are always wonderfully designed, and Fat Quarter Shop always includes plenty of fabric.

I've been working my way through the patterns...of course I can't show any of my blocks since it's a mystery; however, I can tell you I've completed 5 blocks already and hope to have them all completed in the next couple of days. This really is the best Designer Mystery Block of the Month yet!

This year's quilt features the fabric Vintage Modern by Bonnie & Camille for Moda. If you want to join in you can find out all about it here.

Have a wonderful day!

Hopscotch

Just before Christmas I got the chance to sew with Vintage Modern, a new Moda line by Bonnie & Camille! If you loved their earlier lines Bliss and Ruby, well then Vintage Modern is like the icing on the cake! I seriously heart this fabric...it's one of those lines where it's love at first sight!

It was so much fun to piece "Hopscotch" for Camille (yes, I pieced the quilt, but she did the amazing straight-line quilting pictured above)!  Camille just released 4 new designs, including this one, and they're all on my "to-do" list)! "Hopscotch" is a jelly roll quilt, and there isn't a single "y" seam to sew.

Thanks so much Camille for the photos (by the way, I think that green chair in the first photo needs to come live at my house so I can photograph all the rest of my Vintage Modern sewing on it)!  You can see Camille's other new quilts here.

Wordless Wednesday...

Well...almost...seems I can't post without saying something.  Thank you so much for all the motivation to work on this some more!
