Fun Fabrics

Lori said I could share a couple of pictures of one of the quilts I recently made for her...actually, I've made 2 quilts for her in the past couple of weeks. The one pictured above was sort of a joint effort between Lori and I--she did the applique' blocks and all of the cutting for the quilt, and I put it all together...so I guess it's a friends quilt! (The fabric above is Millie's Closet by Lori Holt of Bee in My Bonnet for Riley Blake).

And here is a lovely pile of scraps that I had to take a picture of...you know the piles of clippings that you just can't bear to throw away?! These are little scraps from Bonnie & Camille's new line, Marmalade. You can see a great picture of the entire line here and here.  Now about Marmalade...I think it just might be my favorite fabric line ever...for sure it ranks in my top three with Sew Cherry and Flea Market Fancy!

I've been saving everything I can as I've been cutting...you can see here that I've managed to save some 2 1/2'' squares and some 1 1/2'' strips.  Did I mention that I love the oranges in this line...and the yellows...and the greys..and...well I heart this line!

It's a lot of fun working with this fabric...gotta get back to playing work!

Have a wonderful day!

I can't wait to see what you are making with Marmalade!!!! I think it is going to be one of my favorites too. I was going to make a king sized quilt for my bed with Bliss but now I think I am going to hold off and wait for Marmalade. :D

This quilt is wonderful. I love the gray with the white then the print in the center. Is this your pattern? It is a modern look to the attic windows quilt to me. I would like the pattern. Thank you.

That is very pretty fabric. Is Marmalade out yet? I'll have to look for it. Are you going to Market? I get to go with Amanda Herring (Quilted Fish). I'd love to meet you IRL!

I love the spool quilt. I just love spools.

I'm dying to see the Marmalade line! I am a Lori fan and Sew Cherry is my favorite also! It must be such fun sewing quilts for the designers and working on their patterns before anyone else sees them.
