Pattern Testing...

One thing I've been working on for the last week is some very exciting pattern testing for Kimberly at Fat Quarter Shop.

Each year Fat Quarter Shop hosts a Mystery Designer Block of the Month.  I always participate and love each of the quilts I've made from these patterns.  The blocks are always wonderfully designed, and Fat Quarter Shop always includes plenty of fabric.

I've been working my way through the patterns...of course I can't show any of my blocks since it's a mystery; however, I can tell you I've completed 5 blocks already and hope to have them all completed in the next couple of days. This really is the best Designer Mystery Block of the Month yet!

This year's quilt features the fabric Vintage Modern by Bonnie & Camille for Moda. If you want to join in you can find out all about it here.

Have a wonderful day!

Oh I love that pattern. So you convinced me in. I just went and ordered the block of the month. Being new to quilting this is a big first step for me. So now I just have to wait for ever for that first one to show up.

I'm so happy you said it was the best one yet because I've already signed up for it. And this year I won't make the mistake of not ordering the backing kit and finishing kit as well.

Oh, cool! Love that you get to do that. And it looks gorgeous. I have barred myself from any more BOMs, except the ones I already committed to. :-)

Really?!!! How fun Sherri, and I agree, they always provide plenty of fabric for your blocks and the instructions are great... maybe that's because they have them "tested" first!

I was intrigued probably two weeks ago and reserved mine. I really like the aqua and red thing that's been catching on recently, but just haven't made anything in those colors yet.
