Mon Ami

I love this quilt!  I love the 268 half-square triangles (yes, I sometimes count things like that), and I love the fact that every single seam nests due to the perfect pressing instructions.  I love the pattern, and the fabrics are amazing.  Even though I've collected quite a bit of Kaari Meng fabric, this is my first French General "finish"--and the beauty and texture of the fabrics is just wonderful.

Once I got the 25 blocks sewn, I just couldn't stop working on this!

I definitely need to get this one quilted fast!

You are FAST! The quilt looks great. I've been thinking about making a Schnibble but not sure what to do with it once I'm done.

Gorgeous! I'm working on a quilt that uses Rural Jardin (a full size Miss Rosie pattern). If I have enough left over, I'll make Mon Ami from the scraps.

What a lovely quilt, Sherri. Such beautiful fabrics. I just bought the pattern, but don't think I'll be able to finish it quite as fast as you. All those HST's.

your quilt is so pretty, it turned out really well. About that counting thing I do that to. I have a quilt with 240 blocks that are stars sot that makes 1920 half square triangle equivalent, isn't quilting great!

Wonderful job Sherri, Congratulations on your first finish for 2011 and your first French General finish! I just love seeing that fabric in different patterns, I've yet to see one that's not a winner.

Am eager to see what you'll be working on next......
