Along with my little "splurge," I did some great bargain-shopping on fabric as well.
I picked up a great piece of fabric for my Christmas cottage quilt at 35% off, two yards of "1974" at 50% off, four yards of Darlene Zimmerman prints at 50% off, and 5 yards of Kona cotton at 30% off.

You had some fun shopping. I have never bought one of those fat quarter bundles either because I have not picked a quilt pattern to do using them. Maybe one day. Have fun going through all of them. Love your "Deals" too.

That is going to be the most awesome Merry Go Round.
Hi Sherri,
Love the fabric. Lila's fabric is going to be a big hit in stores and that Christmas tree with the circles is really cute...
I think that is all it takes for us quilters and sewers to feel good is to buy fabric or patterns.

Ooohhh your fabric is YUMMY! Can't wait to see the finished project. Lucky you.
Gorgeous and so fun!
Hey Sherri - a little tidbit on Lila. Kevin and I actually know Lila Tueller, who used to be Lila Rector before she married Hal. She is Hartman Rector Jr.'s daughter, the emeritus general authority who was Kevin's mission president in San Diego back in the 70's. Cool, huh? (Actually, she looks just like her dad!)
I know - it is wrong to covet. But I do love all this fabric.
I love that Christmas fabric. I think I have a piece of that somewhere. LOL
